As of Monday, Oct. 5, 2020, at 12 p.m. Gallatin County has had 96 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 since Friday, Oct. 2, for a cumulative total of 1,670.

Election Department Mobile Satellite Office in Belgrade

For immediate release: October 5, 2020

The Gallatin County Election Department’s mobile satellite office will be in Belgrade this week to provide voter services to area residents.

The satellite office will be set up in the parking lot of Belgrade City Hall, located at 91 E. Central Ave., on Wednesday, Oct. 7 and Thursday, Oct. 8 from 9 AM to 6 PM each day.

Belgrade-area voters will have the opportunity to register to vote, update their voter registration, receive a ballot and vote.

10/2/2020 Update on COVID-19 in Gallatin County


For immediate release: October 2, 2020

As of Friday, Oct. 2, 2020, at 10:30 a.m. Gallatin County has 68 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, for a cumulative total of 1,577. There are 198 confirmed active cases and eight current hospitalizations. There have been a total of 1,375 people recovered in Gallatin County. Four people have died from COVID-19 complications.

In-Person Voting for 2020 General Election Begins Friday

Gallatin County Election Department


In-person voting for the 2020 General Election begins Friday, Oct. 2 and continues through Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 3, at the Gallatin County Courthouse, 311 W. Main Street, Room 210, in Bozeman from 7:30 AM until 6 PM, Monday through Friday.

On Election Day, same-day registration and in-person voting will be conducted at the Gallatin County Courthouse and the Gallatin County Fairgrounds from 7 AM until 8 PM.

Voters who wish to vote in-person are encouraged to do so before Election Day in order to avoid crowding and lines that can be unsafe under the current pandemic conditions. Voters with disabilities are encouraged to contact the Election Office at 406-582-3060 in order to arrange for reasonable accommodations.

Ballots will be mailed to active registered voters on Friday, Oct. 9. Those ballots may be returned by mail or in person to multiple locations across Gallatin County up until 8 PM on Nov. 3.

For immediate release: October 1, 2020

As of Thursday, Oct. 1, 2020, at 12 p.m. Gallatin County has 35 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, for a cumulative total of 1,508. There are 173 confirmed active cases and five current hospitalizations. There have been a total of 1,331 people recovered in Gallatin County. Four people have died from COVID-19 complications.
