Belgrade School Bus Crash

On Monday, April 6, 2015 at approximately 3:55pm, Belgrade Police Officers, as well as personnel from the Belgrade City/Central Valley Fire District and American Medical Response, responded to a report of a pickup versus School Bus crash at the intersection of Broadway and Central Avenue. Five children were treated for minor injuries and released, while the remaining 17 riders were uninjured. Neither the bus driver, nor the adult driver of the other vehicle, were injured. The incident remains under investigation.

BELGRADE, MT-Fourteen year-old Keelye August was located in Bozeman overnight. She is safe and is awaiting return to Louisiana.  The circumstances surrounding this incident are currently under investigation and no further comment can be made at this time.  Many thanks to the Bozeman Police Department for their assistance.  Anyone with additional information is urged to contact the Belgrade Police Department at (406) 388-4262.

 

 

Missing Child

BELGRADE, MT- The Belgrade Police Department, along with the Lake Charles, Louisiana Police Department, are asking for your assistance with a case involving a missing and possibly endangered child. Fourteen year-old Keelye August, pictured below, was last seen in her home town of Lake Charles, Louisiana. According to Detectives, a bus ticket was purchased for her by a male using the name “Ronald Morgan”. She was due to arrive in Belgrade on Sunday, March 29, and meet the male subject who claimed to be staying at the Belgrade Super 8 Motel. Officers and Detectives are following leads at this time but we ask anyone with information to contact the Belgrade Police Department at (406)388-4262, or the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children at 1-800-THE-LOST (1-800-843-5678)
