For immediate release: June 22, 2020

As of Monday, June 22, 2020, at 12 p.m. Gallatin County has 15 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 since Friday evening, for a cumulative total of 217. There are 25 confirmed active cases. There have been a total of 188 people recovered in Gallatin County. One person has died from COVID-19 complications.

The new cases are located in Big Sky and the Gallatin Valley. The cases were contracted by a combination of community transmission and contact to known cases.

As of Friday, June 19, 2020, at 12 p.m. Gallatin County has 6 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, for a cumulative total of 202. There are 16 confirmed active cases. There have been a total of 185 people recovered in Gallatin County. One person has died from COVID-19 complications.

As of Wednesday, June 17, 2020, at 12 p.m. Gallatin County has four new confirmed cases of COVID-19, for a cumulative total of 194. There are 12 confirmed active cases. There have been a total of 181 people recovered in Gallatin County. One person has died from COVID-19 complications.

The new cases are located in the Gallatin Valley and Big Sky. The cases were contracted by a combination of community transmission, out-of-state travel and contact to known cases.

As of Tuesday, June 16, 2020, at 11 a.m. Gallatin County has two new confirmed cases of COVID-19, for a cumulative total of 190. There are eight confirmed active cases. There have been a total of 181 people recovered in Gallatin County. One person has died from COVID-19 complications.

The two new cases are located in the Gallatin Valley. One is a known contact to another case, while the second case is still being investigated.

6/15/2020 Update on COVID-19 in Gallatin County


For immediate release: June 15, 2020

As of Monday, June 15, 2020, at 12 p.m. Gallatin County has no new confirmed cases of COVID-19 since Sunday.

Between Friday afternoon and Sunday morning, there were six new cases, for a cumulative total of 188. There are six confirmed active cases and no current hospitalizations. There have been a total of 181 people recovered in Gallatin County. One person has died from COVID-19 complications.

M Rescue

(Gallatin County, Mont) At 5:15 pm on June 12, Gallatin County 911 received a call from hikers on the “M” trail, who reported they had seen a woman on the trail who was having trouble breathing. Members from the Gallatin County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue, AMR, and Bridger Canyon Fire Department responded. They reached the Oregon woman quickly and safely transported her down the trail. When they reached the ambulance, the woman said she suddenly felt very light-headed while hiking and then blacked out. AMR transported her to the hospital.
