City of Bozeman encourages use of online and alternative services as COVID-19 cases rise

Bozeman, MT— As the coronavirus pandemic stretches on and cases continue to increase in Gallatin County, the City of Bozeman is encouraging residents to avoid coming in person to city buildings when other options for service are available.

During this time of year the City’s Finance Department will receive payments on city assessments from all property owners in Bozeman. Options for payment include:

    • Paying online through the City’s secured vendor
    • Dropping a payment in the mail or in the secure drop box at City Hall
    • Paying over the phone
    • Lastly, paying in person at City Hall in the Finance Department

Other common items that may be handled online or over the phone include: paying parking tickets, paying utility bills, pet licensing, and liquor licensing.

Visit the City’s website and connect with departments to see what options exist. Many departments offer online, phone or virtual options for conducting business or meeting with staff.

At this time, city buildings are open to the public to assist those who do not have access to phone, mobile device, or computer to conduct their business.

City Manager Jeff Mihelich says, “Right now we must all do our part in reducing the spread of COVID-19. The City is proud to offer so many ways for residents to conduct their business. Making the choice to stay home or limit interactions in your daily tasks is best for keeping employees, and you, as safe as possible.”
