On September 18, 2011, at approximately 4:30 p.m., the Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office received a report on an injured 66 year-old female in the Jackson Creek area. The emergency call came from the Park County dispatch. The injured female’s daughter was with her when she was injured and was able to call for help from her cell phone.

The female was riding an ATV when she rolled the vehicle and injured her hip. The female was riding on a forest service trail inside the Park County boundary approximately one mile up the trail near the end of Jackson Creek Road. The Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office and the Gallatin County Search and Rescue along with Fort Ellis Fire Department and AMR responded to the scene.

Rescuers reached the injured rider and transport her about a quarter of a mile to an awaiting AMR ambulance. The female was then transported to BDH.
