Gallatin Sheriff’s Deputies Arrest Juvenile in Three Forks Case

(Gallatin County, Mont.)

On Monday, April 28, a Three Forks juvenile reported to the Sheriff’s Office that she had received several anonymous and threatening texts.  The texts were related to an already-ongoing investigation. Today, Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a juvenile resident of Broadwater County and will be charging him with several offenses related to the case.

Tax Fraud

The Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office has recently received several reports of Identity Theft tax fraud. Victims report that upon filing their tax returns they learn that they cannot file because their social security numbers have already been used to file a claim this year.

The Gallatin County Sheriff’s is currently working with the IRS regarding the investigation that has affected individuals nationwide.

Thorpe Road Burglary – Crime Stoppers Correct phone number

 

  Sometime during the first week of March a residence off of Thorpe Road was burglarized and an undisclosed amount of cash, two pistols, and multiple pieces of jewelry were taken.  The jewelry is described as being Black Hills Gold rings and necklaces, a three piece Austrian Crystal bracelet, a choker, a belt and a very distinctive blue stone necklace with matching earrings.
