City of Bozeman Closures and Changes in Service in Response to COVID – 19

For immediate release:  March 23, 2020

Bozeman, MT – Starting Tuesday, March 24, 2020, the City of Bozeman will be closing City Hall and the Alfred Stiff Professional Building to the public. As social distancing becomes increasingly critical, public desks and offices will be closed with no public access. City Departments will continue to complete essential work duties. The Bozeman Police Department and the Bozeman Fire Department will continue to provide for our community’s essential health and safety needs.

Some of our Public Works services, including Solid Waste curbside pick-up, will also continue. City Departments, including Finance and Community Development, will continue to provide services with some modifications.  The City’s website will be updated regularly with current information as these operational decisions are made in the midst of our community’s rapidly changing conditions.

All non-essential public meetings are canceled until further notice.

The following City Buildings are CLOSED to the public:

City Hall

Alfred Stiff Professional Building

The Bozeman Public Library, including book drop

Story Mill Community Center

Beall Park Center

All parks facilities and meeting spaces, including the Lindley Center and Story Mansion

The Bozeman Swim Center

Water Reclamation Facility

Water Treatment Plant

City Shops
