On July 4, 2015 Dr. Patrick Fitzpatrick’s abandoned vehicle was discovered at the edge of a bean field south of Willow Creek Mt. The Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office initiated a search of the area on July 5, 2015. Search and Rescue personnel along with Deputy Sheriffs were unable to locate Dr. Fitzpatrick or any signs or evidence of his whereabouts.
The Gallatin and Madison County Sheriff’s received reports that Dr. Fitzpatrick was seen at the Harrison Volunteer Fire Department’s Fourth of July barbeque. The Madison County Sheriff’s Office initiated a search of Harrison and the surrounding area on July 8, 2015. Both the Madison and Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office have been unable to confirm that Dr. Fitzpatrick was indeed at the Fourth of July barbeque in Harrison.
In the weeks that have followed the Sheriff’s Office has not received any information pertaining to Dr. Fitzpatrick. With hunting season soon starting the Sheriff would like to remind the public that Dr. Fitzpatrick is still missing and asks that anyone hunting or recreating in the area to please keep an eye out for any sign of Dr. Fitzpatrick or anything out of the ordinary.
Dr. Fitzpatrick is described as 6’0”, 240 lbs with white hair. Dr. Fitzpatrick was last seen at a bank in Bozeman on July 2, 2015 wearing a green polo type shirt and brown pants.
